The Eco-Revolution: from the ecological panel to the LEB send | print
It is the pride of the Mauro Saviola Group. Its extraordinary quality make it practical and resistant, suitable for being the basic component of the Composad furniture. Composad do-it-yourself furniture are made with the melamine panel; a characteristic which makes them unique and exceptional. This material has, in fact, revolutionized the furniture industry: in 40 years of utilization it transformed from a simple replacement of wood to absolute protagonist of modern furnishing planning.
The unprocessed chipboard panel is transformed into melamine faced panel through a thermofusion process with surface decoration, which was preventively prepared for this processing with a passage in the impregnating systems; after having being dipped, the panel absorbs the melamine resins which are necessary for the transformation. The Mauro Saviola Group owns the most advanced ennobling melamine presses in the world; the product, obtained this way, shows excellent qualities thanks to its resistance to scratches, crashing and chemical and physical agents aggression. Therefore, the melamine panel is resistant, versatile, flexible, beautiful to sight, top quality. The melamine panel is also suitable for any type of surface decoration, and it is available in various tints and colours: this aspect makes our RTA furniture true works of art.
The Group’s ongoing investment in research has led to an exceptional result: the LEB Ecological Panel (Lowest Emission Board). It is a panel characterized by the lowest emission of formaldehyde (used as glue) in the world, very much below the parameters set by the strictest regulations in force on the matter. To the Saviola family environment protection does not only mean using 100% recycled wood, but also safeguarding the Individual: thanks to LEB, it is now possible.
